Dr. Rajiv Sharma

Dr Rajiv Sharma completed his basic physician training in St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. Subsequently he trained in Respiratory Medicine at The Canberra Hospital and Sleep Medicine at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.  Dr Rajiv Sharma is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).

He likes managing all aspects of Respiratory and Sleep disorders including Asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, chronic cough, lung nodules, sleep apnoea, hypersomnolence, restless legs syndrome and other non-respiratory sleep disorders.  He has also done special training in Lung Cancer diagnosis including a fellowship in Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) through European Respiratory Society and Denmark in Europe. He is accredited with Epworth Hospitals where he performs EBUS and bronchoscopies. Dr Rajiv Sharma is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, Australian Sleep Association and European Respiratory society.  He has presented his various research both nationally and internationally. Currently he is holding Respiratory and Sleep physician appointments in Werribee Mercy Hospital. He also holds accreditation in Epworth hospital and St Vincent’s Private hospital.
