Dr. Veenu Mubarak is a highly experienced and esteemed Respiratory and Sleep Physician based in Queensland. He earned his medical degree in India, followed by postgraduate training in the United Kingdom and Australia.
Dr. Mubarak completed his basic physician training at Mater Adult Hospital in Brisbane and pursued specialist training in Respiratory Medicine at The Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane. He further advanced his expertise by obtaining a Fellowship in Sleep Medicine from the same institution.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Mubarak is actively involved with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in training specialist trainees in Respiratory Medicine. He also provides teaching of medical students from Griffith University.
Dr. Mubarak’s primary clinical interests include chronic lung diseases such as COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, and lung cancer. He also has extensive experience in the management of sleep-related disorders and the management of excessive sleepiness.
